By accessing or using NoteHive AI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Description of Service

NoteHive AI is an AI-powered study tool that records lectures and generates notes, flashcards, quizzes, and audio summaries. The Service is available on iOS, Android, and web platforms.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service

Acceptable Use

• Record lectures only with proper authorization from the instructor
• Do not use the Service to violate academic integrity policies
• Do not share recordings of others without their consent

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your recordings and generated study materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.

Subscriptions and Payments

• Free accounts have limited features and usage
• Premium subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

Fair Use of Transcription

To keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone, AI transcription is subject to fair-use limits, and usage limits are enforced on our servers:

• Free accounts include a limited number of notes and a limited amount of transcription, as described on the pricing page.
• Premium plans include generous transcription intended for personal note-taking — up to 1,200 minutes of audio or video transcription per calendar month, which covers well over an hour of lectures every day.
• Usage beyond these limits may be paused until the next monthly period. We may contact you about options if you consistently need more.
• Automated, bulk, or shared-account usage (for example, transcribing content on behalf of other people or reselling transcription) is not permitted.

Limitation of Liability

NoteHive AI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
